Big Howdy offers furniture and household items for free to UTD students year round. New students can find out more information about how to receive free furniture at the Big Howdy Welcome Party each semester.

Furniture is provided to students through volunteer donations and is kept in a storage unit available year-round. This furniture is cleaned/disinfected before distributed to students.

There are kitchen items (pots, pans, etc.), dining items (plates, cups, etc.), small appliances (including microwaves), electronics and other decorative items. You can also get FURNITURE including couches, mattresses, desk chairs, desks, bookshelves, etc
